FINAL 2017 SPCAI Annual Report1.jpg

Dear friends,

I am thrilled to share with you a standout 2017 Annual Report. I hope the stories, photographs and progress highlighted in the next pages will make you proud to be part of this life-saving work. The gratitude I feel for you is unmatched as I look at everything our team has accomplished thanks to your financial support.

It was three years ago, in 2014, that I stepped up to the help of SPCA International. The first changes I made were to cut overhead expenses and expand our programs exponentially. Today, I am honored to say that our program funding has increased by 23%, program operations are nimble and responsive to partner needs, and our global impact is greater than ever. That progress has allowed us to help more animals than ever before and make significant investments in special projects like the Dogs of Chernobyl, which you will learn more about in this report.

There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make the daily rescue efforts of SPCAI staff and partners a reality. We are ensuring a brighter future by investing in the health and longevity of our organization; that is the foundation that makes all our work possible.

Thank you for your support. Together we are making the world a better place for animals by working one bowl of food, one sterilization, one vaccination, one rescue at a time. I am so honored that you are standing with us, helping us create this beautiful network of animal welfare warriors. Thank you!

With compassion,
